September is globally recognized as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. The 2018 is “Working Together to Prevent Suicide.” In the spirit of working together, UW-Madison will participate in coordinated activities throughout September to engage our campus community around this important, though often under-recognized and misunderstood, health issue.
UW-Madison employees are invited to participate in a free suicide prevention training where they will learn how to recognize warning signs, respond in a supportive way, and refer to resources.
Coffee will be provided. Registration is required.
Participants will be sent a pretest in advance of the training.
