Student Season Tickets

2023-24 men's basketball student season tickets are now SOLD OUT!

Men’s basketball student season tickets go on sale to all degree seeking undergraduate, graduate and professional students beginning Wednesday, September 20 at 7:30 a.m. CT. Tickets will be sold online at UWBadgers.com. Student season tickets are $120, plus a $20 processing fee. The student season ticket includes a ticket to each home game, with the exception of those games played over winter break.

Digital Voucher Delivery

Men’s Basketball student vouchers will be sent digitally via mobile ticket delivery to all students who have purchased to the email address on file on their student account. Additional details will be sent via e-mail to student season ticket holders.

Student Winter Break Tickets

Hey students, will you be in Madison over winter break? We want you to know that students have the opportunity to purchase student tickets for each home game played over winter break.

Student single game tickets for Winter Break Games will go on-sale Monday, October 2 at 7:30 a.m. online at UWBadgers.com.

  • Tuesday, January 2 vs. Iowa
  • Saturday, January 6 vs. Nebraska
  • Saturday, January 13 vs. Northwestern

Students can purchase, for each winter break game, up to two (2) single game tickets for $11 per ticket. Single game student tickets are not vouchers; instead, they are reserved game tickets with a specific section, row and seat. Student single game tickets will be located in student section seating.

Know Before You Go: Basketball at the Kohl Center - Students

Student Gate Entrance

  • Students must enter the Kohl Center at the Student Gate, located between Gates A & B.
  • The student game opens up 90 minutes prior to tip-off.
  • Students will have their mobile voucher scanned and receive a game ticket with a reserved seat that you must sit in.
  • Students should plan to arrive and enter the student gate at the same time as those you wish to be seated with to ensure you receive tickets together.
  • Please note, there are no exchanges once you enter the student gate and receive your ticket.

Mobile Student Vouchers

Download your student voucher in advance and add to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay App for entry. Have your voucher pulled up on your phone BEFORE you approach the entry gate. Badgers App: Download and manage your student vouchers via the Badgers App Search 'Wisconsin Badgers' in the App Store or Google Play Store.

Once you download the Badgers app, please follow these simple steps on your smartphone: Mobile tickets must be downloaded to your mobile wallet in advance of arrival to the Kohl Center. Mobile tickets may also be accessed by logging onto your Wisconsin Athletics ticket account on UWBadgers.com using a web browser on your smartphone, or by clicking on the individual game tickets in your season ticket delivery email on your smartphone.

Student Ticket Transfer

Cannot attend a game and want to send your mobile tickets to a friend? Arriving separately from the rest of your party? Use our newly enhanced Ticket Transfer service. Ticket Transfer works well with the Badgers app and allows you to send your mobile tickets via text message or email for free. For more information, please visit UWBadgers.com/digitalticketing.

  • Open your Badgers app.
  • Click on Tickets at the bottom right of the screen.
  • Choose Manage Tickets.
  • Enter the email address and password associated with your Wisconsin Athletics ticket account.
  • Select the match under My Tickets.
  • Tap the Apple Wallet or Google Pay App icon to add the tickets to your mobile wallet.
  • Your tickets are now saved in your mobile wallet for use on game day.

Kohl Center Entry/Carry-In Policy

Doors open 90 minutes before each game. Fans are encouraged to review the carry-in policy.
Permitted: Bags no larger than 8.5" x 11", clear totes no larger than 12" x 6" x 12'
Prohibited: Bags larger than 8.5" x 11" (including all backpacks)

Arrive Early (Approx. Entry Times)

  1. 90-45 minutes before: No delays (less than 1 minute to enter)
  2. 45-25 minutes before: Moderate delays (5-10 minutes to enter)
  3. 25 minutes - opening tip: Longer delays (15-25 minutes to enter)

Metal detectors will continue to be used as part of the security screening at the Kohl Center, but fans will no longer need to remove cell phones, keys or other personal items as they walk through the detectors. All bags will still be subject to search upon entry.

Cashless Concessions

Cash will not be accepted at any concession stands. Patrons may pay with Apple Pay/Google Pay, credit or debit card. Gift cards are also a form of payment accepted at concession stands.
