NVivo is a popular qualitative data analysis software application that can be used to analyze interview transcripts and textual survey responses. NVivo facilitates the storage and organization of data, and provides tools for text coding. NVivo also provides a suite of analytical tools such as word frequency analysis and cross-tabulation analysis. Attendees are asked to download and install NVivo prior to the workshop. UW-Madison affiliates may download NVivo for free from the campus Software Library: https://it.wisc.edu/services/software/ Registrants will be emailed the link to the session a few days before the workshop.
