Join us -- to find out how Peace Corps can pave the way to success in the Health field. This is part of our series on Badger Peace Corps Stories of Success.
Allison Rodriguez currently wears many hats at the Survey of the Health of Wisconsin, as a Study Coordinator, Cancer Center liaison and Community Engagement Specialist. Allison is also a certified healthcare interpreter in Spanish at Meriter-UnityPoint Health.
Prior to taking on her current roles, Allison spent several years as a Bilingual Home Visitor with the Early Childhood Initiative on the south side of Madison, and in the Peace Corps as a Health Education Volunteer in Nicaragua (2013-2015). Allison has a Bachelor of Science in Biology (2012) with a certificate in Global Health, as well as a Master of Public Health (2019), both from the UW-Madison.
After Allison, Campus Peace Corps Recruiter Kate Schachter will talk about her secondary project working on health projects in Ghana. She will also give guidance on how to plan for Peace Corps service.
