Join UW-Madison colleagues for a viewing party and in-person discussion of the BTAA Women in IT first annual virtual conference.
"Lead From Where You Are" is the first virtual conference sponsored by the Big Ten Academic Alliance Women in IT (WIT) peer group. The conference will include two keynote speakers, as well as a panel of three women at different stages of their IT careers. The virtual conference is free and all BTAA members are welcome to attend. Maureen Biggers, Director of Indiana University's Center of Excellence for Women in Technology will serve as one of the keynotes, discussing inclusive work practices and unconscious bias. Ana Hunsinger, Vice President Community Engagement, at Internet2 is the second keynote. She will discuss championing women in IT. The Career panel speakers include: Diane Dagefoerde (Ohio State), Kaylah Norris (Rutgers) and Laura Favour (University of Minnesota).
