Month of the Military Kid Community Walk
Monday, April 15 | 6-7:30pm | 4275 Helen C. White Hall & Lakeshore Path
Join University Veteran Services and the Madison Chapter of Team Red, White, and Blue (Team RWB) to pack care kits to provide to visitors and patients at the Madison VA Hospital. The event will start with assembling the kits and then continue into attendees walking them over, taking the beautiful Lakeshore Path most of the way!

Meet at Helen C. White and come prepared to walk 2 miles on Lakeshore Path to the VA Hospital and join in community with other students and community members.

The route is a mixture of paved and unpaved surfaces with no boundary fence near a body of water. Strollers and children are welcome. The pace of this walk will be casual, about 20 minutes/mile.

Please note that due to construction there may be limited parking in the area. The interactive campus map allows you to receive real time updates about parking availability near campus.

We will collect donations of crossword puzzles, word searches, and sudoku puzzles to donate to the VA Hospital. If you would like to donate any materials for this event, please let us know. Please note that donations are not required to participate in this event. We welcome all participants at no cost! *
