This workshop is about design principles for developing slides/visual aids (PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Slides.com, etc.) for both conference/seminar presentations and job talks. The workshop's goal is to emphasize the importance of visuals in aiding with memory and retention, thus making a presentation more memorable than others that lack visual aids or have poorly developed visual aids. We will present tips for best creating a balance between the visual aids and the speaker so that they work together to provide a memorable presentation.
