ActWIse is a bystander intervention program designed to equip UW-Madison students, staff, and faculty with the confidence and skills to recognize and intervene in situations of interpersonal violence and the social norms that sustain it.
The 6-hour Skills Training on Thursday, January 10 is designed to enhance your skills, knowledge, and leadership capacity to become active bystanders in preventing sexual and relationship violence.
Those who would like to be trained as co-facilitators of ActWIse workshops are invited to stay for Day 2 on Friday, January 11. Full attendance at both days is required to serve as a co-facilitator.
Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided each day.
