Las Vegas – On the second day of the Cliff Keen Invitational on Saturday,
Isaac Jordan finished what he started on Friday, defeating two seeded opponents in consecutive matches to earn the 165-pound crown.

In the semifinal match, top-seeded Jordan faced off against four seed George Pickett of Cornell and won by an 8-1 decision. The Urbana, Ohio, product met a Big Ten opponent in the championship, as he outdid Purdue's 10th-seeded Chad Welch by a score of 5-3.

With the result, Jordan has won 11-straight matches to begin the 2015-16 campaign, as he also took the 165-pound event at the Navy Classic on November 21.

After losing in the 174-pound quarterfinal on Friday, seventh-seeded
Ricky Robertson finished fifth at the Cliff Keen Invitational. He went 3-1 on day two of the tournament, winning two matches by decision (4-3 and 4-0) and one by major decision (12-4).

Robertson went 3-2 against seeded opponents at the event, including a victory over No. 8-seed Brian Harvey of Army in the fifth-place match.

Ryan Christensen also lost in the quarterfinal on Friday and went 1-2 on Saturday to place eighth at 184 pounds.

As an unseeded competitor, the freshman posted a 2-2 record against seeded opponents. Christensen's most notable triumph came in the Round of 16 against No. 7-seed Dylan Gabel of Northern Colorado, as he narrowly won in a 2-1 decision.

TJ Ruschell was the only other Wisconsin wrestler competing on the second day. He fell, 3-2, to ninth-seeded Markus Scheidel of Columbia in the 157-pound bracket.

Luke Rowh and
Rylan Lubeck also competed at the Cliff Keen Invitational but did not advance past the Round of 32.

The Badgers return to the mat Saturday, December 12 at Pittsburgh, followed by a matchup with Penn State on Sunday.
