Next Workshop
Weave It.

When: April 17, 2024 from 4:30-5:30PM

We will tinker with fibers and yarn to create mini weaving projects. In person Hub locations will have some Hello! Loom kits available to try.

Joining from home? Have some cardboard to create a simple loom, string, yarn, and any other fiber or fabric materials you'd like to try out.

Teacher Studio is a hybrid learning community for formal and informal educators interested in hands-on, maker-based learning.

Each month, participants will make something together and share ideas for supporting maker-based learning experiences with their learners. You can join online via zoom or in person at one of our four hub locations. The Teacher Studio is made up of school-based and out-of-school-based educators from a variety of content areas, grade levels, and experience levels with making.

The Teacher Studio is a partnership between UW-Madison PLACE, Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, Building For Kids Children's Museum, Madison Public Library and the Fermilab Office of Education and Public Engagement.
