Inside the Badgers' locker room for an exercise in literal, and figurative, team building

MADISON, Wis. — The Feb. 10 edition of Varsity Magazine is now available, featuring an in-depth look at the team-building exercise that's paying dividends for Greg Gard's men's basketball team and one family's creative clothing that has become a Friday night fixture at men's hockey games.

When he took over for the retired Bo Ryan, Gard set out to help his team renew its identity. UWBadgers.com Senior Writer Mike Lucas looks at how the exercise, centered around bricks, helped reinforce some of the ideas that have been central to the Badgers' succes over the years. Read it HERE.

Liam Wallock and his sister, Aoife, have become favorites of other fans, and the Badgers themselves, thanks to the clever t-shirts they sport each Friday at the Kohl Center. From "Rumpel Saves" to "Jurusik Park" to "Free Eddie," UWBadgers.com Insider Andy Baggot looks into the Wallock family's creative way of cheering for the Badgers. Read about it HERE.

In his weekly "Lucas at Large" column, Lucas talks with three UW football assistants about which of the players who joined the Badgers on National Signing Day have the chance to make an early impact.

In his weekly column, "The Voice of the Badgers" Matt Lepay discusses what he believes to be some omissions from the all-time starting five BTN viewers recently assembled for the UW men's basketball program.
