Wireless Printing

Using PaperCut, you can set up your personal device to print from any release station in a campus library or InfoLab. Papercut supports Windows devices, Mac laptops, iOS, and Android.

  • While on campus, set up your device to print to campus print queues (see below for instructions).
  • When ready to print, follow your standard steps for printing and select the appropriate print queue. (You must be on campus to print wirelessly.)
  • Go to the appropriate print release station, login with your NetID, and release your print job.

Install the PaperCut printing software

  • Download and run the Mobility Print installer for Mac.
  • When it is time to print, print like you normally do, but select your desired PaperCut printer queue.
  • If you see this pop-up, enter your NetID and password: (If you see “Hold for authentication” after this step, you are likely not entering your NetID and password correctly.)

To Print from iOS

  • Click the Share button.
  • Scroll down and select Print.
  • Select your printer queue.
  • Enter your NetID and password and tap OK.
  • Unfortunately, other operating systems (such as ChromeOS or Linux) are not supported by this printing system at this time.
