Madison, Wis. - Don't miss the annual "Skate with the Badgers" event presented by Alliant Energy on Sunday, Feb. 24 at the Kohl Center on the Bob Johnson Rink. All Wisconsin hockey fans are invited to take to the ice with the current Badger players and staff for open skating. The free event runs from noon to 2 p.m.

Admission for the event is free, however participants who want to take part must provide their own skates. No sticks or puck will be allowed on the ice. For those without skates, you can still come to the event and get autographs from the stands.

The Kohl Center doors will open at 11:30 a.m. at the Gate B entrance. Badger fans can pick up team schedule posters at the door for their favorite players to sign.

"Skate with the Badgers" on Sunday precedes the UW men's hockey final regular season home series against Michigan on Friday and Saturday evening, March 1 and 2 at the Kohl Center.
