The Architecture of Arguments  (back)

Description:

The ability to compose an argument is among the essential skills expected of UW-Madison students. We will review the classic three-part structure of argument-driven essays (introduction, body, and conclusion), and then refine our understanding of common rhetorical moves within those parts. Participants will gain a sharper understanding of how to navigate the conventions to make their arguments smarter and more effective.
