This year’s Academic Staff Institute celebrates 30 years of shared governance for academic staff. This year’s keynote presentations will be Darrell Bazzell speaking about the current status of the biennial state budget and a panel of retired academic staff sharing the history of academic staff governance on campus. Breakout sessions will include professional development sessions about networking, developing an online presence, and retirement. There will also be sessions regarding the current budget process, things to know about layoffs and non-renewals, and Robert’s Rules.
