La Mujer Latina is dedicated to bringing together Latinas to identify pressing issues affecting the welfare of La Mujer Latina in the university campus and the Madison community. In doing so, La Mujer Latina hopes to build networking among Latinas and be instrumental in advocating change for Latinas. In pursuit of these goals we shall:
1.Promote intellectually stimulating discussions on the issues of sexuality, culture, personal and family health.
2. Raise awareness of those issues among ourselves and in the larger community.
3. Advocate positive change for Latinas in the community through adoption of policies, procedures, and programs.
4.Promote relationships among the Latinas of the university campus and Madison community by fostering dialogue and networks among the various Latina segments of this community.
Noche de Cultura Noche starts at 7:45pm-9:45pm will be hosted by Mariachi Band-Cielo Azul
