When registering for this series of classes, you MUST register for one Part 1 course and ALSO one Part 2 course. All Part 1 classes are all the same and all Part 2 classes are all the same so you can choose any of them as long as you have one Part 1 class and one Part 2 class.
Often our subject matter experts become facilitators or put in a training role because they are asked to get involved in mentoring, training, and coaching new or existing employees. This workshop is designed as an exploration of the essential skils that trainers / facilitators need to develop, and get you started in the learning process in an interactive environment. At the end of this workshop, you will be able to: Identify and discuss basic training skills including principles of adult learning. Explore how being genuine enhances training. Identify the elements of good questions. Recognize how to apply listening skills. Develop rapport building strategies. Recognize key skills in a trainer's toolbox and identify skill areas for development.
