The University of Wisconsin men's and women's cross country programs will host the 2016 NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday, Nov. 11.

The eight-year-old Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course will serve as the site of the championship races, which consist of a 6-kilometer race for the women and a 10-kilometer race for the men.

The women's race gets underway at noon (CT), with the men's race to follow at 1 p.m

Parking/Shuttle Information

• There is no spectator parking at the cross country course or University Ridge. Spectator parking will be located at Blackhawk Church in Middleton, Wis.

Blackhawk Church: Blackhawk Church is located 5 miles north of the Zimmer Course off West Mineral Point Road. If traveling on the Beltline, exit to West Mineral Point Road and continue to Veritas Drive or Brader Way (both located on the right). Parking is available behind the church on the upper deck.

• Spectator shuttles are available to transport spectators for $5 round trip. Accessible shuttles will be available at both locations. The shuttle service will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude one hour after the final race has finished. The shuttle will pick up and drop off at the upper deck of the parking ramp at Blackhawk Church.
• Parking is not allowed on County Highway PD or County Highway M near the Zimmer Course. Any vehicles violating this will be subject to ticket and tow at the owner's expense.

Directions

• From Interstate 90/39: Take exit 142A onto Highway 12/18 heading west. After nine miles, take exit 258 (Highway 18/151, Verona Rd.) and turn left onto Verona Road. After two miles, turn right onto County Road PD. Take the entrance to University Ridge, which is three miles down on the right side of the road. Upon entering the University Ridge complex, the Zimmer Course will be on your left.
• From Madison: Take Mineral Point Road west beyond the Beltline, then turn south on County Road M. Go right at the intersection with County Road PD to the University Ridge entrance. Upon entering the University Ridge complex, the Zimmer Course will be on your left.
